Particular acknowledgement goes to Southern Arc Dance Center for choreographing and rehearsing our dancers. They have built a beautiful intergenerational community here in Newnan and were so gracious to allow Seasons of Strength to be part of it.

Emmanuella Balogun
Emmanuella has been dancing for almost six years. She is proud to be connected to Coweta County because of the support she has received from her friends and community. She is excited to perform in this show to help illustrate the history and resilience of Georgia and Coweta County.

Rebecca Di Piazza & Lucia Hamer
Rebecca and Lucia reside in Chattahoochee Hills. Lucia (4) has been dancing for two years, and Rebecca has returned to ballet after an 18-year career and retirement in 2004. Rebecca is excited for the opportunity to dance with her daughter, while Lucia is excited to be in the spotlight.

Victoria Lam
Victoria is a sophomore at East Coweta High School and has been dancing for 12 years. She is honored to help illustrate the development of her community through this performance.

Chiara Pfrommer
Chiara is from Germany and is currently living in the USA for one year as an Au Pair. She has been dancing for approximately five years and recently moved to Newnan in late 2025.

Minjung Seo
Dr. Minjung Seo is a Senior Lecturer in Piano at Auburn University and has performed at Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall. She received her Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of North Carolina and has recorded for Navona Records.

Parker Stalons
Parker is a ninth-grade student at East Coweta High School. She has been dancing for eight years and is excited to perform in this production.

Olivia White
Olivia has danced and taught with various organizations around Atlanta, including the Southern Arc Dance Theatre. She is passionate about storytelling through dance and is inspired to be part of this production.

Barbara Careaga
A professional violinist and instructor originally from Chile, Barbara earned her Master of Music from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She has performed with the Georgia Symphony, The Atlanta Opera, and The Atlanta Ballet, and has toured internationally in China and with the Atlanta Boy Choir.

Avia Fields
Avia has several years of dance experience and is honored to contribute her artistry to help tell the story of Newnan’s resilience. She is delighted to call Newnan home and looks forward to growing as both an artist and community member.

Dorothy Norrell
Dorothy moved to Newnan four years ago and has been dancing since the age of two. While she loves all forms of dance as raw self-expression, her primary love is ballet.

Chance Rankin
Chance holds an MS in Biomechanics and is a frequent collaborator with Southern Arc Dance Company. He is an active performer with the Entertainment Professionals Impacting Communities in Georgia (EPIC GA) Productions.

Violetta Sim
Originally from Uzbekistan, Violetta has 12 years of experience in ballroom dance and recently began studying ballet. She is excited to learn more about Newnan’s local history and cultural context through this show.

Dimitri Teltscher
Dimitri has lived in Newnan for nine years and is excited to represent the community’s strength following the devastating tornado. He believes that "even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise".

Sua Yoon
Sua is an elementary school student in Coweta County who has been dancing for nearly two years. Ballet makes her feel happy and confident, and she is eager to dance on stage.

Monica Corliss
Monica earned degrees in Music Education and Violin Performance from the University of Georgia. She previously performed with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and currently performs with the Augusta Symphony and the Gwinnett Symphony Orchestra.

Lauren Burns Hodges
Dr. Lauren Burns Hodges is an Associate Professor of Viola at the University of Florida. She has performed and taught masterclasses internationally, including in France and China, and serves as a board member for the American Viola Society.

Mao Omura
Originally from Japan, Mao made her solo violin debut at sixteen with the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony. She is currently a member of the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra and serves as Associate Concertmaster of the DeKalb Symphony.

Cressie Rynne
Cressie began her ballet training only a month ago and is thrilled to join her first production so quickly. She is grateful to Southern Arc for the gift of dance and the friendships she has made.

Derrick Smith
Derrick holds a B.F.A. in Dance and an M.A. in Special Education. He has performed works by Alvin Ailey and danced with the Dallas Black Dance Theatre while continuing his career as a Special Education teacher.

Reya Timbs-Usher
Reya has been dancing for nearly 10 years and trains with the Southern Arc Dance Center in Newnan. She is excited to help bring the beauty of dance to the Seasons of Strength performance.
