Seasons of Strength

We survived together. We rebuilt together.

Now we heal together.

When an EF-4 tornado tore through Newnan on March 26, 2021, we lost our homes, our trees, our sense of safety.

In all that loss, we found something stronger: each other.

100+ Stories Collected

Neighbors 4 years to 80 years old shared their experiences through our listening booths.

Dozens of Partners

Individuals, churches, and businesses throughout Coweta County and beyond have partnered to bring this project to life.

2 Powerful Performances

Seasons of Strength will present 2 commemorative performances across the 5th anniversary weekend.

Embracing Resilience

This is more than a performance. It's our community writing its own story of survival.

Seasons of Strength will take 100+ survivor stories collected over the past 3 years and weave them into a live performance featuring the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra and a troupe from Southern Arc Dance.

Through powerful storytelling and vivid artistry, Seasons of Strength is lifting up and preserving Coweta County’s remarkable story of community, recovery, and resilience - paying it forward to every community that helped us by passing on what we’ve learned and what gave us hope.

Through this performance, we will show how, even in the middle of our darkest night, the light of our brightest hope shined through.

Save The Date: March 21 & 22, 2026

Seasons of Strength

We all have our sliver of a story of our experience. This is so many people impacted even when they weren't hit by the storm. The impact on the people in our community was profound, but the kindness and the generosity of our community was more profound.
